Default Can someone measure: Ride height on a car setup for DE

Can I ask for a couple of quick measurements from a car that's 'well sorted'?

Measurements:
- Ride height at the fender in the front
- Ride height at the fender in the rear

If you could measure from the floor to base of the lip or the the body crease (just note which) along the hub line.

I'm in the process of installing new suspension and am trying to get the ride height right. A couple measurements of comparison measurements from another car would be most helpful!

Thanks!

Jeff

I typically don't use the fender as a guide. With a stock aluminum control arm, the lowest I'll set the ride height for a street/ DE car is 4 3/4" (ball joint concerns) from the head of caster block bolts to the ground and 8 3/4" from the center of the t-bar housing (use the outer housing to level L&R). 5 1/4" and 9 1/4" is what I use for a street only car.

Thanks Jeremy. This, along with the other tread I have running is very helpful.

Keep in mind any measurements 'to the ground' may vary with different wheel sizes and tire profiles. Y'all probably realized that, but worth mentioning.

If you measure from the wheel center to the top of the fender arch your measurements won't vary between wheel sets. For those of us with multiple sets of wheels it is beneficial to be able to refer to a constant measurement.

Thanks Shiners...that's a good tip. I'll adjust accordingly.
