Does anybody know the operating frequency for the factory idle control valve?
I am attempting to use it with the Haltech E6k as a BAC (bypass air control) valve.

Interesting. I'm going to need a new idle control valve because the original apparently bleeds boost at over 16psi.. where might I find a replacement stronger item? Anyone know of a car which would have a stronger item that fits/works? Audi 5cylinder 20v??

if you go to a stand alone ECu you generally get flexibility to control bipolar and stepper motor type IAC valves. Then you have as much flex as you need - generally stepper motor IAC valves are more readily available, more compact and I think less prone to boost leakage. There are at least a few aftermarket housings that accomodate common stepper motor IAC valves. Of course many late model throttle bodies also incorporate stepper IAC valves that bypass the throttle plate. and thus eliminate additional idle air hoses.

I've run my S2 idle control valves at 120hz also had a BMW valve in there also at same frequency, they are also reverse acting both the BMW and Porsche valves.
