I have the wheels pictured below on my car and I believe they are BW Kinesis, meaning the centers are made by BW and the rims are made by Kinesis. I have seen these wheels in 16" and 18" and it appears to be the same center on both with different outer rims. Does anybody know if it is possible to bolt standard 17" Kinesis rims to these centers?

Try asking MPD47?

BW Motorsports did make the centers on those using Kinesis outer rim halves. Speedline made the originals, but RH also makes replicas of these. I have a set of 17 by 8 in this rim and am actively searching for a set of 17 by 10s.

Jason,
You are missing the point. The centers were not made by Kinesis, just the outer rim halves which were used by BW Motorsports when they made these wheels using their own centers.

eclou, those don't look like Kenisis centers. the outer wheel is for sure but the centers don't look right. Are they stamped on the centers? These are Kenisis on my car. Bought them directly through them and I was the one who got Powerhaus to be a dealer for them back in the day.

In fact, your wheel centers look identical to odb812's. You might want to check again. I think it's a shame they don't make these anymore. I looked at every manufacturer before going with Kenisis. The process, design, everything is so nice on these things. They hold up to everything and never bend. The centers are so meaty and the curves of each spoke are gradual to spread all the impact over the whole wheel. When polished, they really show the manufacturing detail with all the curves and such. A damn shame as I would like to redo mine in bigger sizes.

DF - I have the same wheels as you as my track wheels - Kinesis Supercups. The other ones were called C2Turbos or 968 Turbo wheels and were done by Kinesis. I even had Alan Baylis look up the serial #'s on them.

You know what, you are right eclou. I forgot all about those C2 wheels. Keep those supercups man. They will probably go up in value. I'd love to get bigger outer rims for mine. An inch bigger front and back but they don't make them anymore. The Asanti Wheel company bought them out as well as most everybody except HRE and the quality isn't up to par. I have Asanti wheels on my 760li and I've bent both front wheels already. They are easily rounded out but it's still a hassle. I don't know, maybe they are pretty good. The car weighs 4600lbs and the tires are 25 series which is a strip of bologna so that may be an issue as well. HRE's for me if I ever get new wheels.

I just bought a set of Supercups off ebay for my 993. Very excited about it. I also happen to have a pair of 12" wheel halves lying around - I think they are for the Kinesis centers but may be for BBS. I will count the # of holes and report back.

I have a set of BW wheels on my car they are awesome
on the back of the BW wheel is a serial # they have all records and yes kinesis did make the outer halves and a manufacturer from Japan built the centers I believe
kinesis will sell you wider halves if needed but call BW for your specs they were helpful for me
