Default m030 questions

Hi, as I understand, the m030 option on our cars means a 19mm balljoint, and new bigger rotors/calipers, is that it or something else?

I'm also aware of the m030 suspension/shock difference, but I allready have 2way KW comp.

since I'm not gonna use the brakes anyway, can I just machine a regular 87+ hub for a 19mm joint and be done? or does it have some extra magic?

i thought 19mm balljoint is an after-market mod.

The balljoint is not changed in M030.

The brakes are really a Turbo S 88 and 89-91 change since they are used even on the non M030 90-91 models.
The brakes have different (radial) mounting so the hubs are different between the 220 hp and 250 hp models.

The M030 control arm does have a different part number to the non-M030 control arms. I had assumed (but am not sure) that this was due to a different ball joint to be able to cope with the height adjustable Koni struts - what's the point in having them if you cannot use them due to the well documented ball joint failure problems with lowered cars.

I think that the M030 control arms just have a harder compound rubber bushing in them.

so if going charlie arms, all uniballs, etc. m030 hubs/spindles doesn't really offer anything of a regular 87+ in strength? it's gotto handle 295's on 18x11 up front.
