I think I've got that exact guy, brand new, never used, still in the package. If that is all you need, I should have what you need. Send me a PM and I'll check for you.

Ironicly, NZ951 was running a link standalone

Well it's a Kiwi product but that would be more likely to make it the opposite of irony.
I'm still waiting for my components to turn up for the whole LINK box and dice set so can't comment on their usability yet...

It's ironic because rennlist is closed off to the real world and only one rennlister (NZ951) has been using a Link system on his car and just so happens to also be from down under. At least I think that's what he means...

heh, i thought it was ironic because you guys have screen names that are really close (NZ951 vs OZ951). Sorry?

No problem Ian, certainly no apology necessary mate. I had been using a LINK system since 2003 like several listers at the time so I just wasn't real sure about what was ironic.

If I didn't have a link system sitting in my spares box, I probably would have gone straight to stand alone ECU (VEMS looks promising with its use of factory triggers) but by putting the LINK MAP I already have into the 86 951 I can adjust my fuel map to suit the current setup of the car without much of an outlay (just $$ for the hand held tuning module).

I would recommend some chips from Russell if he's still doing them. It did wonders for my LINK MAP. Also if you need, I have a set of Guru 24pin chips I'm not using.
