I just read the description, I find these quotes very funny:
Racing cams (we have more than one)
Turbo S Body type
20,000 on the freshened motor (what exactly does that entail, squirting some febreeze into the intake?)

I've ridden in this car and it is definetly a faster S2. The owner has been trying to sell for a while. He has a lot of track experience but no time anymore to do that.

Shaved door handles, and he says it's ready for DE...
If you over-cook it and need help getting out, I reckon that's one of the DUMBEST things you could do to a car...
ymmv.

MY favorite has to be this "Big red twin turbo brakes in front...Powder painted black to be less noticeable" Good job buddy, and a red car isn't noticeable.
Oh ya and you ned a 6 point cage to race PCA.
Sometimes I wonder who is dumber, the buyer or the seller?

I track my car more than alot and have shave door handles. I considered this before I did it. The conclusion I came to is if you really crash bad the door is most likely not going be functional anyway. Also on most race cars the cage comes so high opening the door does nothing. Bottom line if you have to be removed from the car you are going to be getting pulled out the window anyway.

On that particular car, the cage is a rear-only cage, and there's no door brace, nor any front bracing, so that's not an issue... In fact my current 951 also only has a rear belt bar and behind-the-seats-only sort of roll bar rather than a full -proper- cage, so also, nothing to restrict door access. (mind you I have run a full-cage in another car before now.)
For me, with a potentially panicked track worker, I'd rather not risk confusing them for even a half-second with a lack of a door handle, even though I do indeed LOVE the shaved handles look, and I in fact have some glamour shots of one of my own cars which has received that exact treatment. If I had to guess, I'd say that I THINK I've seen doors fail hard-to-close more often than hard-to-open, but that's an impression, and I've never been a course worker, so it's just that, an IMPRESSION, and I'm not going to claim that I have ANY hard data to back it up.
I'll revise my thoughts to say that I'd never do it to one of MY track cars. -It just doesn't seem right to me. (and my cars have been in too many accidents for me to give much thought to 'glamour'!

One of the things about this car that I found interesting is the Big Red brakes were ground down to fit under 16" wheels. This allowed the use of a lot more of the factory wheel options for the 944. Personally though I would have a hard time grinding down my Big Reds
