Default More race cars

Lots of interest for race cars on the board, here are a few interesting ones:

Al Holbert

With a 2.8 stroker

A very clean one

How about a 850hp Lola Champ car for 60K$? Sounds like a better deal than a Caparo T1

Other very cool listings on this site: http://www.race-cars.com/carsales/complist.htm

ENJOY!!!!

What's up with the roll cage cross bar in front of the dash on that white one? Jesus.

They're real racecars - not poseurs. That bar is a requirement for most series.

lol. I understand that. But they could have taken a bit more time to put it under or behind the dash. To clean things up a bit more. That was my point. If you're going to take the time to do it, why not finish it off cleanly?

There's probably a good reason for it, such as a class reqiuerment to keep the HVAC, in which case it would be impossible to route it behind the dash.

Until you realize that you will be spending about $15K rebuilding the engine every 10 hours...

Probably! How much adrenalin can you push over 10 hours though?!??!

But I agree, finding qualified services and parts would be a nightmare, still I think this is unbelievable value, but I'm not sure your average driver is qualified to drive this thing..

Regarding the third race 951, the ad says the car is in TN.. it is now in Montreal and sold for about half the price of this ad! http://www.pcaucr.org/forum/post.jsp?postid=7031

Chris
