Just have took my racer to the paintshop, to be resprayed.
The "Porsche Grand-Prix Weiss" had turned into 6 different shades of white.
It will be redone in the new "Carrara White".
It was nice and sunny, could not resist to take some pictures of the stripped car, with all the battlescars still showing.
Hope you enjoy them.

I will get the car back early next week. If all goes well it should be presentable again next weekend..

brutal.
do you have codes for white colors?
I am planing to paint mine too, but I'll shure won't buy color from porsche vendor as it is prodably 10x more expensive.

Any reputable paint shop has the mix codes of the various makes, to mix the color. You only have to know make, model and year, and they should be able to mix your paint.
However, talking about whites, they are very critical. Also Porsche themselves had 4 different varieties of "Porsche Grand-Prix Weiss" which I used to have.
I discussed it with the PS owner today, you just never get exactly the same color, taking into account there is also wear and UV.
So for for this paint job the paint shop ordered premixed color. If you want I can ask when I collect the car if they ordered Porsche factory stuff (which I somehow doubt) or where else they have got it.

Looks so mean like this. I think you should just race it as is and scare your opposition off the track! Nice big i/c too!
