Did anyone else notice the wicked scrapes on the lower front valence? Come on guys! You ask mid $30's for a 20 year old car and can't get your detail guy to touch this up?

dfastest, your car has about as much to do with market trends as peter norths pecker has to do with abstinence education. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Well regardless of why, some chick just smashed my 951 on thurs. Of course her ins, is going to low ball me. But with excellence pricing higher my chances of getting my investment back....and another 951...is better, since I refuse to drive anything else. ****ed up thing is, I just finished my resto, well the dash still had cracks, I had an extra one boxed up to be shipped out this week for the finish.....and to finally show you guys. What a horrible nightmare it has been.
Been a very bad week.
Ps: Ill be in the market for another superb 951, if anyone knows a worthy candidate.

Most of our cars are now in or almost in the "20 year old" range which means Classic.
No different than a 1960's muscle car in the 1980's. They were not worth the 100-250K+ that they are now back in the 80's but that 20 year mark is when values start to show if the car will be considered collectible or not.
As some have said if we keep them up and running and in good shape, there should be no problem with the trend lasting a long time and prices constantly increasing.
I used to think anything that was not stock would loose a lot of value, but as in the muscle cars, as long as the modifications were a standard upgrade for that car and years of make, you are ok. It is just that it took most 951 owners until about the 1990's to start doing many mods.
