Please help if you have installed or seen the kit from Scott Gomes/Underpressure Performance. I have tried to reach him for input on his kit. I purchased it a while back and tonight/tomorrow I am supposed to be assembling my motor and have questions about his kit. Anyone know how to reach him, cell # etc.? He may be on vacation as I have been unable to reach him for several days now.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Kevin

I might be able to help you out. I have one of his kits (though I never installed it) plus I have seen them installed. What's the question?

fortysixandtwo,
I want to know where the orange or brownish color o-rings go. I did not receive any type of directions or illustrations with the kit. It seems that the two disks supplied will use the supplied black orings and the aluminum cylinders will drop into the bearing shells. I also wanted to ask about mounting a small alternator or even the stock one. Where to connect the tensioning rod. I seem to recall that the lower balance shaft cover/power steering mount/stud protruding from said cover all get deleted.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hmm, not sure about the tension rod mounting, I never had to cross that bridge because I didn't install mine. (went the route of welding the block shut instead)
The black o-rings are for the front disks, and the browinsh ones are probably for the rear balance shaft cover seals. I'm about 95% sure the bearing shells are left in when putting in the dummy balance shaft journal.
I need to call him tomorrow, If I get him on the line I'll ask for you.
