Nice comeback. No, the intercooler was put in there the way it was supposed to be. I just changed the piping because I didn't like the way the Greddy system was set up...and about the front bumper...I was planning on putting the stock 97-99 bumper on it anyway, so I figured, "What the hell?" and cut the front bumper. This was in December of 2006, and the accident happened January 19, 2007.

Oh, and sorry about being so harsh on your fuse box...I didn't know it was just taken off for a few minutes.

Fixed. It was actually a triple-intercooler setup. The turbo ran to the side-mount, then to the front-mount, then to the seat-mount (and I'd always keep dry ice sitting on it), then to the throttle body. It was mad tyte y0! JFWY. I'm not sure how many horsepower I had, since there were no good AWD dyno's in Tampa at the time, but if it gives you an idea, I ran low 12's.

Definitely not eBay special, but I did get it at a good price. A lot of intercoolers look the same...

I only have more pics of post-wreckage.

Ha Ha fun stuff man, I'm dried up no more pictures. It doesn't take long to throw 100K at a Pantera project. I'm sure Bob has north of that in his.
Does the engine compartment get overly hot with the exhaust running through? Nice exhaust work by the way, but tell the guy the flames have got to go.

Other than the paint an polish, that's a factory 968 engine. They came with the fuel rail /plug wire cover. There's also a cover that the car in that picture does not have. It goes across the back of the engine bay and covers all the wiring along the fire wall. The 968 has the most modern looking engine out of the 944/968 series cars. However, on a personal note, I like the S2 came cover the most, the 968 one is a little too "swoopie" looking

I'm not positive but fire wall cover might fit the 951. It wouldn't conform to the back of the engine as nicely, but might be worth looking into.

There are some clean ones in this thread. https://rennlist.com/forums/968-forum/405084-money-shot-engine-pics.html
Maybe you can get some ideas from them.

kiyoskia,
I can't remember either, (about the 968 engine cover, but you should search for the name nz951. You may have to change the thing to NZ951, or something close, OR you may have to search machtig turbo, it's the same guy. Anyway, he put a 968 engine cover on his 951...if I remember correctly. Andrew had one of the nicest examples on this board. Once you look him up, you might pm him and tell him that you are new. Ask him every question you can think of. He was definitely controversial, but he also brought a HUGE amount of technical curiosity to the baord and always put his wallet where his mouth was. At the same time, he also always wanted to have a REALLY beautiful car.
Andrew, once you got to know him was, and is, a great guy. He still posts here once in a while. He's building some monster supra turbo now.

The rear cover was only on early 968's, Up to mid 93 then they were deleted from production. I am pretty sure the will fit a 951. If it does not i am sure a little creative modifying would solve any fitment issues.
