that inlet manifold looks really out of place .
Am I the only one who thinks putting and air filter on the hot side of a heat exchanger is stupid ??. i think thats the kind of exhaust routing Pat is going for considering the pipe size he is talking . the car really tents my trousers i think the F40 inner door handles are awesome were do i get 968 fiberglass stuff ???

Even if the car had a stock junkyard long block in it, you could not build the rest of the car for twice the asking price. That in itself makes it a great deal. Any shortcomings could surely be resolved by the new owner.

It's a race car, it doesn't have look pretty.
Looks like a solid, functional race car to me.
Can't beat that price.

Where does that clothes dryer line go to, anyway?

In all seriousness guys, this looks like K-mart on wheels.
Whew. I thought I was the only one.
Very nice parts in that car, but just lookin at those pics I can tell you why he had so many problems. Expensive parts, Not the best planning. problem is usuall not everything is done by one shop. So some things get "mixed" together.

I too noticed the different shades of pearl. But yeah, it's a race car.

Smokin deal for most mortals.

And of course its 90deg F in Australia @ 9am. Its summer down there!

Let's be honest - a car built by Ruf has additional value.

If you "insinuate" (I have never seen so much insinuation and passive/aggressive bull**** like I do on Rennlist) that a car is built by Ruf, that is FRAUD.
It is fraud because you gain value unethically.

I suspect that Alois would burn this car to the ground and stomp on the molten embers if he knew someone was using HIS NAME to sell it.

I may be wrong, but look at this car, then look at any real RUF car....

No f-ing way.
I talked to some guys from RUF at Rennsport this past year and asked them jokingly when was RUF gonna do some stuff for 951 and they looked at me like it wasn't even worth discussing even in joke form.

On the other hand, anything that ST sees in a 951 that is not his is crap to him.
