Help understanding back pressure

I know the Audi have 20v and so do some Volvo..........but they are 5 cylinder!

Ok.

I was just going on the thought of more exhaust valves than intake valves to really lessen the back pressure/head pressure.

Maybe 12v head? 1 intake 2 exhaust???? lol

Well the latest generation of petrol 4cyl Audi/vw engines have 20v i.e. two intake and three exhaust, so it could be that configuration.
