Hands down the kenisis are the better lookers and they were made so well too. Different story now though. They were bought out by the parent company of Asanti wheels. I've heard the manufacturing process went the way of cheaper than before. Ski if you look closely the k27's are different from the k28s

Yeah Joe I noticed that after I posted. We've got two sets of the K27 - one set up with Toyo RA1 and the other with Yoko A032R for the track car. I didn't even consider Kinesis, since I also heard the quality had gone down. Fikse got the nod over RH due to price/budget - getting ready to start the 2.8L process, Big Blacks and rotors are being readied, and factorytuned gears and pulleys should be ready next month or the next.
Time for a bit more hp, add a little braking, and a new wheel look.

Kevin there is probably a wheel repair guy in your area that can fix it much cheaper than buying a new one. There's two guys here that will do it. One guy welds in new aluminum if you need it. Check that out first. You know that funny saying here on the boards.."that'll buff right out". Well that's what I say looking at your wheel after the damage and repairs I've done to mine on my old bmw. I've turned wheels into eggs and have had metal chunks taken out. Got em repaired no problem.

Thanks Joe. I'm actually pretty close with the owners of a wheel repair shop here in Columbus. The sponsered me for a couple years. I haven't talked with them yet, still waiting on the insurance company to decide on things. These are my track wheels, so I will need to discuss with them if they trust will trust the strength for the track after the repair.

Thanks
