LOL - fraid not little buckaroo.... unless your itty bitty 289 is spinnin 10,000rpm got nuthin on this one.

Being reworked at the moment - hairy roller cam, world heads (2.10,1.6 valves), roller rockers, 5.7 rods, hyper 11:1 pistons, internal balanceded bottom end, elbrock performer air gap intake, 750 carb, etc, etc, etc

Backed with a 400TH and 3:73 posi in a sub 3000lb 49 ford coupe.

BRING IT ON

tasty. i use to have the elbrock performer air gap intake how do you like it? i sold it cus i need the money and just got a performer intake. All i can say is i got 4 bolt main so i can rev it PRETTTTTTY HIGH. same comp here.
WTF are you doing putting that pos engine one of the best chassis 49 ford coupe. hehe just kidding but your killing me.
btw that motor is coming out due too the ped lifting because the cams had to much lift hehe. So i am going to put my dad corba spec motor (289)in my 67 fastback hehe.

Please post some pics of the 49

btw what kind of carb spacer is that? Go with a wooden spacer ITS the BEST but you didnt hear it from me hehe.

nah - older style automatic 400TH short shaft trans, no electronic BS - will be running 2800 stall as well.

don't have many pics at all of the 49. here is one that will give the idea.... is in front of the 33 ford pickup

Start the 6.0 liter turbo diesel daily. Below 40 degrees, it'll blow a little smoke but runs like a champ otherwise.

I start my Porsche every two weeks or so to keep it in good shape and make sure things stay in good working order and I even drive it around the block without using the broken second gear. Makes a ton of racket doing it.

The girlfriend never has a hard time starting up and runs continuously. When they stop running or don't run very well, it's time for a trade in boys.
