Default help please oil pan wont come off

Hi can some one please tell me how the oil pan comes off I have a 90 s2, everything pulled engine hanging on the support bar, cross member off, oil pan bolts off, alternator etc.

The oil pan is undone I can move it easily around but cant get it off the pick up/filter/baffles in there. No matter which way I manipulate the pan its catching on something all the time, I can just see inside and its a mass of backets tubes etc....

Whats the secret sequence please? Other than a bloody big lever bar!!

thanks
mike

p.s I dont have the rear timing belt covers off or the crank pulley.

You sort of have to move it to one side and then tilt it a bit.

Its hard to explain but you have to turn (and tilt) it as you lower it, the baffles kinda get in the way of the pickup

Exactly. It's just as much fun to get back on.

Did you remove the oil level sender?

ok so there is a turning motion as well, my exhaust that goes from the downpipe to cat has been welded to the cat is that a space where it needs to turn too - if so I'll have to drop the whole rest of the exhaust?

Do I go to the exhaust manifold side or turbo side in the twisting/turning

sorry for the stupid questions but I have been under the car now for 2 hours trying to budge this...
