Default ngk bpr6es

so the factory heat range for the spark plugs is bosch #7 which is equivalent to ngk #6 correct. i just bought some ngk bpr6es after all the recomendations on here but i just realized that everyone gets the bpr7es, or one heat range colder. for a daily driver k26/6 seeing a max of 16psi boost, would the bpr6es be ok for the winter, or should i run back to the store and gets the 7's?

Well from my short MX career I know that the lower the # the hotter the spark. BTW, I always felt that NGK plugs work the best. Especially for 2 strokes.

I have the #6 with a K-26/8 and 15 psi with 242 to the wheels, I had the #7 but they fouled a lot and didn't burn the fuel as well as with the #6. I read in the spark plug guide that for every 75 hp more you should go one range higher, so if my car is 247 hp stock and I have 242 to the wheels which is around 300 hp then it's around 50 hp increase because of mods, so I am fine with the #6, besides, most here who have the #7 have boost monsters/ heavily modified and tuned cars...
