FS: Four 944 Turbos and one Chevy Powered 944 for Sale
I currently own 4 944 Turbos and a Chevy powered 944 (I guess I got carried away) and would like to sell 3 or 4 of them. I just bought a 44 cup car and need the space. The project car is black and primer, the rest are Guardsman Red. It looks like I have sold four of the cars

The Project Car: A 1986 rolling chassis and 80K mile engine not in the car, I think I have all the major components to build a track car (my original intent). The bodywork was cleaned up and primed, transaxle with cooler is still installed, orig Koni shocks $2700 Deposit received on the Rolling Chassis Engine may be available (thinking about keeping it)
The Pretty Car: A 1988 with 138k miles, but doesn't show it. Completely detailed engine compartment all nuts/bolts/clamps replaced with stainless, everything either ceramic or powder coated, head gasket, valves, belts rollers water pump recently done, rebuilt S turbo, Suspension upgrades, super clean interior, but with the usual dash cracks, chipped ECU, boost gauge and controller and aftermarket exhaust and much more. Dynos at 243 WHP $9000. SOLD
The Fast Car: a 1986 With around 90K miles. Big SFR Stage 2/3 Turbo, and Headers, 250lb Weltmeister front springs, Konis, 968 M030 Swaybars, Slotted front rotors, PFR brake pads. Fuchs Wheels. This car has a very long list of performance modifications, which I can e-mail to anyone interested. Dynos at 320 WHP $9000.
The Conversion: an Early 1985 944 with a turbo transaxle and a carbureted 350 Chevrolet engine. The engine is a crate motor with only 10K miles on it. $4200 SOLD

Porsche power brakes don't fit with any V8 conversion. You can either use an 80's vintage GM setup that takes its power from the Power Steering pump (Hydroboost) or buy an electric power brake setup for around $1000

It actually handles pretty well with that setup. I have the 968 M030 Sway Bar in the front and Stock torsion bars and sway bar in the rear (the Rear M030 bar isn't installed yet). I had about 2 degrees of negative camber in the front when I ran my last DE. The "pretty car" has the same front springs and stock rear suspension (lowered with M030 blocks) and handles pretty well also. I'm certainly no expert, but while the 250 lb springs are a noticeable improvement, the aren't so stiff that they upset the balance of the car.
