I have roughly 600kms/380miles on a freshly rebuilt turbo.

I was told not to boost at all for 100 miles, then no more than 5psi between 100-200 miles and no more than 10psi for 200-300 miles for break in.

Now, i noticed that the oil consumption is much more than average, but there is NO smoke at all.

Is this normal, for the seals and bearing to seat in ?

no limitation when the car was new so it sounds like something with the rebuild.

no such limitation in tubocharged aircraft.
