I'm not sure that this can be taken as a hard fact. -My '89 Turbo came with vinyl seats with pinstripe fabric center panels... It's shown on the original sales sticker as being that way also.

Does any one see the chassis stiffener under the power steering fluid tank?

I can't seem to spot it.
I don't see it either but it may be hidden behind the headlight motor.

I think it could very well be an 'S' but the 1986 speedo and the unwillingness to post the VIN at the very least make the car suspect in terms of prior history and actual mileage.

To me the wheels were cleaned with acid-based material, which is a big no-no on anodised wheels such as the CS. Why aren't wheel nuts black anymore ?
The hood switch is missing.

Vin shows it's an '88.

But still it's a very nice-looking 951.

My Turbo S, in the same Stone Gray color, had the same pleather/script cloth seats. Mine however had the 10-speaker setup with the EQ which I thought was standard. I see this one lacks the EQ.
Odd car, I wonder what the story is.

Kinda hard to make out the VIN, but you get the idea.

I can see the Turbo 'S' option on that sheet. Still an odd duck though.
