Does anyone have a fuel vapor control valve lieing around that they want to sell? For those that dont know, its the metal valve infront of the fusebox that ties into the vac system. part #: 944 110 429 00.
Mine isn't holding vac/boost and is messing up my tune!
thanks

Another question I had was has anyone tested the fuel vapor diaphragm that ties into this system and is located right next to the control valve? I assume it is supposed to hold vac., however since I have no information or another one of these to compare to I just wanted to make sure before I replaced it. Mine seems to hold approx. 5 in Hg, but I would think it should hold engine vac.

The diaphragm should not leak, if I recall correctly. I no longer have any of this on my car. The worst effects I would think you could have is a small vacuum leak and a light fuel smell near the driver side front fender.
