I replaced mine in January this year and already have black scoring on the cap contacts. I'm back to not starting again and wondering if that could do it. I recently replaced the wires because several had loosened up at the crimp in the plug connector. They had been like that long enough to have some corrosion. Would running like that for awhile accelerate wear on the cap/rotor?
