Default Anyone know these Chicago cars?

They look clean but you just can't tell by pictures alone. Maybe someone has seen these cars in person.

I spoke to the owner of the second vehicle and he mentioned it has has a noisy lifter (replaced the first 3 but not the 4th), front seals are leaking and a leaking power steering pump/reservoir (sp?). Is it worth it for the price?

Holy crap... the second car at that price makes my car worth about zero.

Damn, that 2nd car is a steal if everything is as advertised. The engine alone is worth the purchase price. However, I'd be concerned about the quality of the rebuild if the engine was just done and the front seals are already leaking.

This is my concern as well. The question is how good/bad was the rest of the rebuild.

I was looking at the white one, but something isn't right with it. They admit the mileage is inaccurate. The paint looks great, & it appears to have at the very least a boost enhancer. Is that wax on the windshield molding or is it the molding disintegrating? The mileage question is a big thing. Will they offer a Car Fax report on it?

I looked at the first car (white) and it was not in great shape. the car made no boost, the rear bumper on the passenger side is bowed out, the lower front bumper is cracked and broken in several spots ,The plastic wheel well liner is broken on the driver side, missing belly pan, extensive oil coverage under the front of the car, the trim/seal around the windshield was non existent, interior damage as a result of leaking rear hatch, the interior was in pretty bad shape all around with many missing/broken pieces, very cracked dash, missing a muffler, and much more vibration then the last 944 I drove

That white car is a rat bag. I would stay far away. The front nose doesn't line up well if you look close at the pictures and you can tell they spit shined it to make it look good. I bet that car has over 200k on it.
The black car I can't believe on the phone he admits all the problems but does not say anything in the ad about it. Whats the deal with that?? How does he know its a noisy lifter? If your spending that kind of loot for a rebuilt expecially for new pistons and pauter rods wouldn't you replace all the lifters and just not 3? Just doesn't make sense.. Buyer beware.
