Default vacuum hose vs. boost line

Pretty stupid question here. So I'm putting in an MBC and wondering if I can use the silicone vacuum hose (LR kit style I have more of) to run from the KLR boost line to my MBC?? I understand the KLR boost line is hard, possibly making it less prone to collapse or get cut. Should I just stick with the hard tubing and if so where the heck do I buy it???

come on, when I said stupid question I didn't mean so stupid that I didn't want advice. Someone throw me a bone here. Is it sane to want to use silicone vacuum line to hook up a MBC?

I think you are fine...silicone vac hose should work ok. My MBC is hooked up with silicone line...albeit a slightly larger diameter than vac hose.
