Default Low-noise, low-dust brake pads?

I had the front pads on my '89 951 replaced because they squeaked horribly. I'm not sure what they were; they were installed by the PO.

The new ones are Textar, and the dust is worse than the noise! These are the dirtiest pads I have ever had on any car. I used to be able to keep the wheels clean with car wash soap and a mitt; now I'm going to have to take them off the car and use some kind of cleaner. My wheels are Wheel Enhancement 17" turbo twist replicas.

So, any recommendations for different pads that will fit my car? Street driving only.

You can't go wrong with PBR (Axxis Metal Master). They are inexpensive, very low dust, quiet, easy on rotors, and work excellent when hot. They aren't a true track pad but they have never faded on me on many fast mountain runs with heavy braking.

I have pagid orange. Little squeaky in town but I get on it often and the noise goes away when you are on it. I would try the pagid black. No squeak and the dust is just as minimal.
Heard the PBR's are good too like Kuhl suggested.

Michelin makes a dust repellent that works well, you can buy it at autozone

I found that this stuff tends to keep my wheels cleaner longer. I then clean with a diliuted Simple Green.
