Audio Head Unit with Accelerometer-Anyone used this?
Just wondering if anyone has any real life input on the Kenwood car stereos that come with accelerometers.
I saw only one stereo review which concluded they had no confidence in the unit becuase they logged in the specs for a mini-van and shook the unit all around and got it to read 325hp. Well, if they just shook the unit around to test it, they are idiots. You test an accelerometer like anything else, you install it and use it as it was intended.
I haven't seen any reveiw from someone actually testing it as it is supposed to be used. And it's not rocket technology to have a machine measure g-force and analze it with weight for hp, and not rocket science to have a unit measure 0-60 times...........so maybe it does work.
Any input would be appreciated.
