Due to the new PCA regs requiring a race seat if you want to use a 5 or 6 point harness, I am looking for a wide race seat for my 951. I was wondering if anyone fit a Corbeau FX-1 (wide Seat) or a Sparco EVO 3 (XL) into a 951. I have seen some posts and apparently the EVO 2 (L) does fit. I am planning on using side mount brackets and bolting them to the floor.

I have evo 2+ aka Evo L + aka fat & tall, to fit the evo3 you would have to remove handbrake and probably some of the seat i think, evo2 is pushing it, I can barely lift handbrake

I have FX1 pro (Skinny guy) seat. As installed it is against torque tube tunnel and handbrake flexes the outside seat edge when in use. Looking at measurements I don't think there is any way to mount that much wider seat and retain use of park brake.

I am not sure How big you are, but I can say the FX1 pro is actually pretty decent size. I think they say up to 38" waist comfortably, 40" is tight.
I am 34" is definately big for me. OK with harnesses to hold you in tight

I'm bigger than that, more like 44 inches. I've been looking at Kirkey Intermediate Road Race seats. The seem to have much thinner sides and I can get an 18 inch seat version. Does anyone have experience with these seats?

I have as pair of Cobra Imola 2s (1" wider) bolted in my car with Brey-Krause side mounts. The e-brake lever still has full movment, but it is a little tricky to get them bolted in so I can't imagine going much wider.
