if you unscrew the factory diagnostic tube you might be able to hook up a air compressor or even a smoke maker?

give it a try.

ok the thing to do is stuff something in the tail pipe like a rag then go fishing for the leek with 3 foot a piece of hose stuck in your ear the rag does 2 things one massively increases exhaust system pressure and leak and knocks some of the noise out of the equation that distracts out from the leak .its best done with a friend as the rag blows out and could catch fire .I know it sounds crazy but its a proven method .
before you go into that be aware that these cars sound like an exhaust leak when they have a a steady misfire. do a power balance test first . to locate a misfire.

I tried the leaf blower in the tail pipe but that does not help with anything past the wastegate; i.e the headers.

You would need an air compressor and the right fitting for the spark plug, ask anyone who introduced compressed air into the cylinders while replacing the valve springs with the cylinder head still on.

You would need to crank (manually) the engine to an exhaust stroke for every cylinder, i believe it would be a few degrees before BDC.

I'd add to what gt37v said, "with the motor at idle stuff something in the tail pipe like a rag".

thanks. nothing you have is likely to pump air as effectively as your engine exept your turbo that is a good air pump but might be a bit disabled due to the header leak . start your car with one plug lead off and listen to how bad it sounds you will understand
