I have a head it's a stage II head from a reputable vendor which I would not disclose his name. Anyway I want your oppinion to what might have cause the damage, Stuck valves but no broken timing belt, head gasket has a burn throught, head cracked by the water goose neck port. See the evidence,

I've seen heads crack from overheating but never that bad. Overheating and the blown gasket are related but unless the head cracked enough to tweak/warp the head enough to damage the guide it doesn't explain the valve.
Is there mark on the piston where the valve could have floated a bit and hit the piston?

If the guides are not sized properly, when hot the valve will stick. The engine was not running in this condition, was it?

It's likely that the valve shaft was a little bent from the last rebuild... Blowing the head gasket caused enough of a temp rise that due to expansion the friction caused it to stick it in the guide.

I was running this car going towards San Diego. All of a sudden I had no power, looked at my guages and the temp was in the red. I immediately pulled over and noticed that the freeze plug was blown out of the head.
The car was running fine with good AF ratios. I was crusing at around 80-90mph steady state. The car was flat bedded to San Diego. We tried to turn it over, but it didn't sound good.

This head had about 15K on it prior to this running 18psi boost on pump and 22 on race gas. The AF and such was always in check. This head was on a motor that had 400whp at 22psi on race gas.
