Each has their merit. My shop tunes both audi and porsche and they have some very potent s4's. They are very nice cars but heavy and prone to understeer... just not as balanced.

And you think repairing a 951 tranny is expensive..... aye caramba. However I know which I'd want in the snow!

He'll be my bitch.
Tell him when I am there - he needs to pee sitting down.

A roll, starting at 60.

I have both, neither is stock. Both have big turbos. S4 is faster most of the time as there is almost no turbo lag (even with RS4 turbos). Here is a link to some S4 1/4 mile times. Lots of fast S4's

Because an S4 is all-wheel-drive. Will launch like a bat out of hell vs a 951 which is hard as **** to launch well.

I could go race myself and post what happened...
The S2 (Stock and mod) has way better initial acceleration but the 951 (stock or modded) has way better top end. My S4 hits an aero brick wall on the track - but it does come off the corners well - if you know how to rotate it with the throttle.
I love the conditional challenges! From 60 up….why not figure out the best part of your power band and stipulate that as the challenge – My car will beat yours….from 86 to 98 miles an hour if the air temp is between 48 and 64, no tail wind, very slight uphill grade, less than 40% humidity, both cars in original factory paint color, tires with a minimum of 7/16” of tread with a minimum treadwear rating of 240, between the hours of 4pm to 8pm…..

I am willing to consider starting in a range between 60.789 and 68.56 MPH.
I think this is more than flexible.

So your S4 is gutted by a 1000 POUNDS, barely resembles a street car with zero creature comforts, runs upgraded turbo's/fueling with just downpipes with no cats or exhaust and runs only racegas with the timing advanced/boost cranked to the moon ? Do you run in the 10's with a low 130 trap ?

I am sure that ST would run him fron 20 mph and up with it ending at 150.........this dude is a pro street for money street racer and is going to look for every advantage in the book to get the "win". Because from a dig or low speeds he will take off and shut it down just when ST comes on..........and claim, what a surprise I beat you. With no top end qualifier ST should do very well.
