If its bling you're looking for, fill your boots. If its function, the originals can be modified for far less.

I actually Spoke to Charlie Sparrow, who makes them, and he said that he does not have any made and doesn't plan on making them until next year.

When he makes them, the retail price will be $1995 becuase of the increase of materials.

He will make a run of 10 for me BUT if I can not get 10 orders, I will have to wait unitl next year when he makes his yearly run of 20 sets.

Thats from the horses mouth, not a vendor!

Dave, does all 10 have to be early or late offset or does it matter to Charlie?

I would assume he wants them to be one offset but I will ask. Once you change anything, its another machining change and I'm sure thats not what he wants to do. I will ask though. I'm calling him in a few minutes.

I can't speak for him but I'm under the impression, he doesn't want to many floating around as people have tried to copy the design in the past. This way people buy what they need and install them asap. It also helps keep the resale up, lol..

i talked to a friend who is cnc machinist and with the alu prices we have around here it would be of no use makeing anything. buying the "real deal" is cheaper.

Im going widebody and such for winter/next season, so would have been nice to have it before then.. but if I need I will of course wait. thanks for the info guys.

I want late offsett.

I will make a thread about the need of 10 on our local porsche forum as well, how many that you know of are interested? according to the ebay auction the interest is definetly there.

Yes, AL prices are through the roof! Plus there is heat treating, the pins, etc..

Well, I have 3 people plus you that are intrested. So we would need 6 more. I have a call in to see if we can mix and match offsets. The sooner we get 10 people the soon you'll have them for your project.

wouldn't everyone just buy late offsett though? I'm gonna widebody my car and figure out would be the logical thing, to lessen load on bearings.

my car is today early offsett.

Well, I guess some people don't want to go through the hassle of getting different wheels etc.. Thats an expensive change.

well I'm getting custom 3 piece ones done to my measurements, will of course give him the ones for 87.. wouldn't happen to know how much wider the 87 stuff is? I have allready payed for the stuff, hes just waiting for my final measurments, I can still specify rim width, offsett .. yeah

plan is 18x11 front with 295 and 18x12 rear with 315, wouldnt mind some input here though.

what is on the picture of your car evil 944t? got a gallery or something?

I am running 10 1/2" rims in front with 295's and 11 1/2" in the rear with 315's. I was told that I could go to 335 in the rears on 11 1/2" rims by the guys at tire rack if this helps.
