Default Head job almost complete!

Wanted to post this in here too for those of you that have been answering ?'s for me... also posted in the regular 944 forum.

I wanted to thank everyone for the pics and help with this crazy project. As most of you know the PO's mechanic was obviously not a Pcar mechanic and the engine was a mess. I also painted some things while in there. I was gonna paint the whole cam tower, but in my experience, aluminum breathes to dissapate heat, and if you paint it, it acts as an insulator, so I decided to just touch ups in gold for now.

I had to replace 4 bent valves, reseal the oil cooler, replace p/s lines, replace all the vacuum lines, all the coolant hoses, and I'm sure there is more I am missing... everyone was a huge help!! I have the car set up right now just need to put the cooling fans back in, route all the coolant pipes, and put fluids in it and it should be ready to fire. I must say that I am nervous about starting it. I bought it not running, and have spent probably 40 hours, and $1500 in parts, plus the $1700 I paid for the car, and the time away from the g/f (thank god she understands), and am only aprox 1/2 hour away from starting it sometime tomorrow. Here are the pics I took today, and I did decide to remove the light panel between the tail lights for now. It looks better then I expected!

Oh yeah, I got the right front wheel moved to the back where it belonged... someone noticed in the pics that it was not in the correct spot. And they are 16x8 in front and 16x9 in rear for the ones who asked last week or so.

The barf on thr drivers side is where the hoodliner melted onto EVERYTHING, been a chore cleaning it up.

And yes, the fuel lines are both clamped. TRUST me. They are on my to-do list!
