Fuel Pressure Regulator Question-When to upgrade?
#17
So for adjustable fpr's you are setting the "x" value for the fuel/psi add ratio? Are all fpr's run off vacuum?
I realize I'm asking a lot, but how would you adjust a fpr like this? Or is this one that adjusts? I see the vacuum line for the boost pressure feed, but is there more to adjusting the fuel pressure aside from this?

it has an allen screw adjuster to set the static pressure at idle.
It then rises with boost pressure at 1:1.
Example:
Mine is set at 43 psi at 800 rpm with the vacuum signal removed.
When my turbo reaches 2 bar boost, the regulator is forcing a total of 5 bar into the rail.
However, the additional 2 bar is equalized by the boost, so in essence, i am still at 3 bar fuel throughout the powerband.

Different ratios are for cars that don't have good turbo ecu management.
