So I called the company I had clean and flow match my injectors and apparently they are leaking.
See the thing is they weren't leaking before and i was VERY careful removing them. I've been thinking about larger injectors since it would be safer (951ma chips) and cheaper. Would it be fine to run larger injectors on my pretty much stock car? Obviously I'd need my chips re-tuned. Please post your experience with aftermarket injectors. My mods are/will be 3bar FPR, Speed force fuel rail, K&N drop in, lindsey MBC, evo diverter valve, lindsey dual port WG, jacobs coil, B&B cat back and testpipe.
Vitesse

I would get the 55# From Vitesse. Between the three just because of Price. Also the Injectors (Delphi?) Work great and arent the negative ones you are reading about on the Lyndsey website. Delphi used to be Rochester and those suck. The new ones are plenty good for any pump gas application. I think you're thinking in the proper direction. There will be room for HP later. If you're going to have to get injectors anyway....
If you want more than 400 Crank hp... Get even larger.

www.racetronix.com has injectors too. Get low impedence and add a couple of ballast resistors to hit the 951 target value (5.5 ohm?).
I never understand why people charge more money for higher flow injectors, it's not like there are more parts or bigger/stronger components. Usually just a bigger hole(s) in the end.

So if I go 55# and a chip retune I won't run rich, I'll just have wiggle room for later. I plan to get some sort of a MAF down the road anyway. Is there a quality difference between delphi and siemens? I went and pick up the injectors today from Santa Rosa diesel and these guys are very intelligent. They had a turbo on the counter that was the size of a midget, I mean this thing was BIG. All four injectors were leaking at the seams. I still find that kind of hard to believe but what ever.
I guess I have 4 nice green bosch paperweights now.

Correct. If you get the re-tune, you should not run rich and have injector left over for future mods.
THere are better quality parts and injectors, but honestly, I've had nothing but good experiences with the newer Delphi's. The have worked awesome. There are better. But the I don't think you will ever have to deal with any difference. I suggest Delphi. (I run Siemens because I plan to go to some sort of Alcohol at some point)

I did a big search on this. You have to read a couple Huge posts to get a good answer. but it's STILL debated if you need them at all. I run them. But honestly wat injectors are you running?
- BTW i ended up PMing John V and he sent me the specs. That was cool.

Two 10 watt 1 ohm Resistors. DME.. Solid Grey and Grey with Black wires in line. One on each.
Others say 25watt 1.3 ohm resistors. It's whatever. Something is better than nothing.

maybe the 3.0 FPR is a waste of time at this Point .
i think a chip injecter kit is the way to go Maxperformance in Uk is realy good .
but the obvius choice is to to get injecctors and chip from vitesse . and get 72's to future proof your car for when you get greedy .
but start shopping for the 2 together

I Ran 72lbs siemens injectors on bone stock turbo (factory), fuel pressure and boost, i had the chips tuned with 72lbs injectors.
I also ran them without resistors for months, no problems.

Hi:
After investigating I went with 48# Siemens from Lindsey along with an adjustable FPR but I run around 45# of fuel pressure so a standard 3 bar fixed pressure FPR should be fine. They have no problem keeping up with the fuel needs of the motor and I am running about 300 - 325 hp at the wheels. I don't have first hand experience with the 55# Vitesse injectors but am sure that you wouldn't go wrong with them either. I chose the 48# Siemens because of price/vs performance. I do not plan on needing any more power and the smallest injector that will still be able to supply enough fuel will typically give the best atomization of the fuel for the best mixing.
I included a couple of pics of the FPR install. I fabricated a small bracket that allowed me to retain the cruise control. I also had the headers Jet Hot coated to minimize heat.
Good luck!
