Steve,

Thanks alot for the chip, it actually passed today with great numbers, the technician was actually an ex Porsche mechanic. Let me know when is a good time for me to get that chip back to you. Thanks again for the help!

Glad to hear it worked. No hurry on that chip. I'll catch you on the Wentworth Springs Run. BTW: How does yours run with the Welt? It's a K26/6 chip but I had a 26/8 which made the chip lean out above 5K. It was good talking to both you and your Dad the other night, he's a good guy, you might want to keep him.

Ha yea I guess you're right ha. It was running well, I can't get more than about 3psi right now due to my WG def. being on it's way out. I will actually try to get it on a dyno after I put my exhaust and LBE back on along with hopefully a tial soon, before the Wentworth run. I can do a little comparo between those and the MAX chips I just ordered and we can see what kind of AFR's we get w/the Welt.

That's the 'only' good thing about Cali smog testing; it's at 1500 and 2500 rpm, plus an idle test. The APE and Guru's always seemed to have smog issues in that range. That's a nice feature with a chip board when you can tune a smog map as a switchable function. I have a couple of good waste gates over and even the shim that goes with the Welt in case you needed something soon. Personally I would hold out for the Tial WG though.

I wonder how 951max chips do with somg. I bought my car a week after it was smogged almost a year ago. I was expecting to have to do it this year but I got my registration yesterday and I don't have to. I am so glad as I didn't want to have to swap the cat pipe in.

Jealous because of the camry, lol. dude is my commute car, a lease vehicle. I don't wax the thing , don't even change the oil on time , it's just a toyota designed to travel from point a to b and make sure that I make it. I mentioned to the 928 guys just to **** them off, did you actually believe what I said about the camry lol, what a dork.

If I want to kill 928's I would use my land cruiser. roflmao

Lart, you really should change your sig. It reads more like a 951 headstone, parts cars don't count! It's bad JuJu IMO

Ofcourse I didn't believe you, I guess I don't know your sense of humor like others on here.

I appreciate it Steve, but I'm going to have to hold out for Tial here pretty soon. I am going to do the dyno runs with the same set up as before when I went with the APE II chipset, so no Tial for that. Man, tuning a smog map would be awesome, and def. save on some hassle. You know they were giving me a hard time yesterday for my K&N. They let it slide "this time"
