When removing the fuel rail #4 (the unlucky #4) injector cap and seal stayed in. I have no idea how to get it out.
PLEASE HELP![w_attention](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/attention_whore.gif)
I guess removing the intake is a must now.

remove the intake manifold (you will probably have to.... removing it from above will cause it to shatter and fall in).
With the manifold off just knock it through from either side, pick out the pieces.

That's weird, cuz those hats are a bitch to get on the injector. Crazy.
But yeah -- they're really prone to shattering, so you should probably get to it from the other side to play it safe.

Damn thats what I didn't want to do, I just want to get this thing running. Lets see now I'm going to need intake manifold gaskets, throttle bottle seal kit, and what else? Since I take pics of everything...

Yeah I got plenty of time now. At least I can take the injectors to be cleaned. I have a new FPR and dampner so I might as well get new fuel lines and possibly LR fuel line as mine is pretty nasty. The car is living up to its name of money bucket.

Why not turn the cam such that the #4 intake valve is closed, just to be safe, then get a strong vacuum cleaner and hold it very close to the fuel injector hat, then pick it out with a dental pick?
Worth a shot... worst case the hat shatters and you have to take off the intake manifold... just make absolutely sure #4 intake is closed.

Thats kinda what I'm doing right now. I'm having my injectors cleaned and replacing fuel components so I put my 951max chips in. I bought a dual port WG from jgporsche but he was deployed before he could ship. Great huh?
I turned the LBE all the way up so I get a whopping 12psi for a second until it bleeds off to 7-9psi because of the shot WG. Doing this made the car develop a miss/stumbling problem so I decided to go the MBC, chips, and dual port wastegate.

Wow Russell your up late, what is it 2am there now? Talk about devoted costumer service! i thought about doing that too but I still don't want to risk anything. I can't wait to drive the car with your chips after this is all cleared up.

LOL, yeah, 2:06 a.m. here. Still getting stuff together to head out to 944 Fest tomorrow. 7 hour drive from here. *yawn*
Mostly interstate, I can take short naps on the straights...
Seriously, the hats look in good shape, I doubt it'll crack coming out if you do it with the injector. But prying on any piece of it might crack it.
Good luck!

The o-ring should come out with a little pick with no problem. Looks like you have the taller yellow caps, and I'd guess they were not pressed on all the way in the first place. (The original burnt orange caps are shorter and easier to snap on -- the yellow ones just don't seem to fit right...). I'd at least try bending the tip of a paper-clip or something to get the cap out, before pulling the intake -- not likely to shatter and fall in I'd think...
