i understand that you cant go bigger than 3" at the lower flange . from the back of the turbo to the tailpipe tip nothing bigger has ever not worked .
i think what he means is that anything bigger than a 3" downpipe is not going to fit in the available space. even a 3" downpipe is really difficult to squeeze in there.

Why do we care about this? This is not impressive. It just makes you sound pathetic.

Haters?? WTF are you talking about? Haters? How am I hateing?? Why should anyone care how much money you spent or on what? It's called a question. Do you care that I bought a $3k turbocharger? Why would you? Why would I care if Skip spent $6k on JRZ's for his car? What's the point? You seem to want us to be impressed by what you have spent. I don't think anyone is.

I know I guy on this site that opened four bottles of wine at the track that cost over $20k total. He didn't feel the need to tell everyone about it. And that IS impressive!

Why would you let that bother you. Several years ago I was told on here that I ruined the internet. Me. I didn't let that bother me. Don't let some silly comment bother you.

Everything does not require a response.

okay.

Even the damn 3 inch has melted the PLASTIC aos from being clocked 1/10,000 out on my T4 setup - now I have to throw a new one on there.
No way a 3.5 will fit without a BIG Hitachi sawsall.

Believe me - I would have a 6 inch downpipe and a garbage can tip through the driver front fender if I thought I could get away with it on the street.

"as much as being able to get as large a volume of air out as possible."

How do you think this is done efficiently? What happens to pressure when velocity drops? How much volume is added with a true 3" DP?

Now back to our regular name calling, pissing on each other, bull**** as usual...

Yea the 3" downpipe is real close to the AOS. I had to pund my heatshield a little with a hammer to get it to fit and i also wrapped my AOS with thermotec heat barrier. Although at least you dont have to pull the intake to get yours out heck I dont even think you have to pull the turbo
