I was just about to order the brackets that hold the front swaybar to the body and realized 86 is a different part number than 87. Whats the difference? since im adding a mo30 bar i guess i want the 87-on ones? even though my cars an 86

Not sure about the difference, but from www.dcautomotive.com the are cheap. I'd be safe and get them just so it isn't a thorn in your side later.

Used or new wasn't really the point of my post. They are inexpensive so I would go ahead with the later equipment.

difference is mount bracket diameter for bushing as I recall. The diameter where the actual sway bar bushing goes is larger after 86... not that the bar itself is, but bushing are different I think
