Howdy fellas and happy Friday,

Haven't posted on the list since I sold my 968. Now that I've bought a house and am somewhat used to making the payments I've been looking at cars a bit. NOTHING out there compares to these cars... I guess I'm addicted to the Porsche experience...

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/car/381128369.html

Now on to the car I'm interested in which happens to be a slightly modded 951 in my area. Any particular questions or things I should be looking for on this car? If anyone has any knowledge of this car or have already looked at it have any pointers for me I'd greatly apreciate it.

I will also require this car to be my daily driver of about 40 miles round trip to work and back daily. I know my 968 performed flawlessly under these circumstances however will a slightly modded turbo stand up to the task???

I Thank you all in advance and hopefully I'll be running with the pack again soon in some form of a P-car...

Welcome back to the addiction. That look like a nice, well sorted car. Price aside.

A slightly modded 951 quickly become a heavily modified 951.

But i have driven my 350hp+ to work everyday all summer w/o an issue.

you just have to keep tabs on regular items like oil / coolant / leaks / belts and make sure things are still running smooth.

I have seen the car and it's clean, especially the interior. I think it's a respray of about the same quality of mine which I consider a 6.5/10. It has some tasteful mods but I can't understand why none of them are a larger turbo. I still stand by what I said before, it's priced to high. $7500 to $8000 is more realistic in my opinion. You can always buy my black one when I get the silver car finished
