If the fork is moving like Jess said, then the hydraulics can be declared good. I think you will have to take it apart to fix it, unfortunately. Could be the pilot bearing has seized/or is galling too.

I had a throwout bearing separate after 16k miles, the fork would get stuck and the pedal would stay on the floor.

My money is on fork failure. Check the fork pivot too. Is the lock bolt still in place?

would it make a noise if the pilot bearing has failed? like with the clutch in or out?

If the pilot bearing has siezed, the driveshaft would spin continuously spin regardless of whether the clutch is disengaged or not.

You wouldn't hear anything different.

If you can, you could try to get the car into gear, depress the clutch pedal and get someone to push you. If you can't move the car, or the engine turns over, that would mean the pilot bearing has seized. Does that make any sense? lol.

I don't know if that's even possible.

Do you feel normal clutch pedal resistance? If the fork broke, I'm guessing it wouldn't return after you pushed the pedal in.

it wont go into gear with the car running but if you put it into gear and start it the car moves with the clutch pushed in so im assuming that means the pilot bearing is toast?

If the pilot bearing was totally seized, the car would move unless it was in neutral. It is possible that it is binding, but not siezed, and dragging the input shaft. Just a thought since he has the good disc and his hydraulics are working.

If the diaphragm spring in the PP was cracked/partially broken, I think it would give a similar symptom since these are pull type clutches. I need to think about that idea some more.

Regardless, I think it has some type of mechanical failure and has to come out to diagnose and repair.

It is probably the clutch. I got everyone off on a rabbit trail. Sorry.

Found the problem the KEP diaphram was cracked in 2 spots. Do they rebuild these or offer warranties on them?
