I know Ian would be closer to you, but LR sells the wide fire gasket set (complete) for ~$150

Wow, thanks for the info, that's a good deal, I just saw it for $185 at Paragon parts, I tried looking under the LR website, but couldn't find it, Ian is close, but most often more expensive, I usually go to him when I can't wait for something....

I have bought lot of parts from Ian, some parts may be little more expensive, some are cheaper than others. I like to support my local 944 store, he's a super nice guy and has just about everything in stock.

Super nice? Yea, when you are there and know what you want, try going there without knowing exactly which part you need and watch him pull a diagram out then lose his patience finding the part...not very good customer service there buddy, Jaime is more helpful and patient...

Well, I had it dynoed and then I had the a/f checked by sticking a tube in the exhaust to a computer like they did for emissions...

So you don't have a wideband O2 and you don't have a way to adjust your a/f ratio , a piggyback etc. or even chips matched to your setup? Dude, ask the guys here and they will tell you, authority chips do run lean at high rpm's

Luis,
Don't authority chips run outrageously rich instead of lean?

Yea, mine are rich up until 3,500rpm, then it goes lean according to the Dyno sheet, so there are some 951Max chips on way for my 30C MAF. I am taking my car to a reputable shop in Ft. Lauderdale Wednesday. He said 8 hours labor for the HG and exhaust manifold studs, so it'll be under $1,000 with parts...

Yes, with the max chips mapped to your setup you will be fine.
