OK guys,
So i went kind of crazy this last week. I removed the ISV, and hoses so now all there is is the two small vac lines, and the brake booster line. Every thing else is blocked off and no worries. While my car does have better vacuum now, it still has a nasty hole in the RPM range.
Today i took off the dizzy and rotor and they were very dirty... had a thick layer of black on them and had to scratch it off with a screw driver before i could even sand it. Now the car runs even better but still has this hole from 2600~ to about 3600~ rpm.... I know i have an exhaust leak now because i can hear the back fire (yes my car back fires) where the cross member is.
HELP. Is there a way to check the TPS with out getting down to the DME and KLR?
