Default The Truth about Vitesse Racing

Last week my new MAF / chipboard & Piggyback arrived from John Vitesse.

I started by installing the MAF / chipboard.

Plug n' Play perfection, car started & idled perfectly w/ my 72lb'er clicking out a dead-on 14.7 AFR.

My TO4E which always wanted to run rich was pulling a perfect 11.6 AFR at any boost between 14 - 18.

And lastly my gas mileage has increased about 30%.

John really delivers a great product & his customer service is great, I'm going to install his SMT-6 unit this afternoon & i am looking forward to a car that i can drive daily, but still have the power i am looking for.

Hoping to hit the the local dyno at the end of the month.

I want to join that 400hp club ! ! ! !

Kudos to you Jake. It sounds like you are doing that car justice.

Hey Jake,

What's all involved in installing the piggyback? I'm going to be ordering a MAF from him soon but wasn't sure about getting the piggyback as well. Thanks!

Thanks for the reminder Jake, I have to PM John for my new FQS settings since my early chipboard has been updated.

Eyal sold his 951? Tedwright go to vitesse's website. Lots of cool stuff, and much positive feedback on his MAF's.

Thanks guys.

I really took a chance buying a non-running porsche un-seen from 3000 miles away.

But it didn't take much to get this car to where i wanted it.

I've added 10 spoke 18" rims, track suspension, and now the vitesse stuff.

Car looks great, i've been bringing it to a few local shows & i've gotten a lot of great feedback.

Thanks everyone, suppose i should snap some pictures now that she is doing so well.
