Default Autothority MAF

I have an Autothority MAF with a Lindsey Racing pipe and the MAF sensor is positioned at 10 o clock, is this the correct setting for it or is it better at 12 o clock??

Yes, on idle. You will be surprised at how different the car will idle when you turn the MAF.

Is this little trick just for APE MAFs or all of them in general?

MAFs sample a small part of the air that passes through them. You have to make sure that the sample spot is in clear air, free from turbulence. Clocking the MAF is likely to be important in all non-OEM installations.
