This is posted in the watercooled 944 section as well.
I just had my a.c. recharged and new drier installed but have a few niggling problems. The blower comes on as does the compressor but my sliders and temp control do nothing. If I disconnect the flapper and mixing door and modulate them by hand I get cool air and the vents open and close. I believe the issues might be with the climate control unit. Before I try and source another I was wondering if anyone had one I could use to test with. I am in the Greenville, SC area and would be very grateful(hint: free beers

make sure you have vacumm to the system. Check the vacumm lines at the fire wall and make sure they are in the correct positions. It is kind of hard to tell sometimes since they are all right there together with the water lines in the way.
