IF you want good spool with great efficiency then contact pauertuning. Nize did a pauetuning write-up on his turbo and loved it.

Edman uses a GT30R.

ok well i found out today that the only twin scroll housing come on t04 turbos. According to who i talked to that would actually increase my lag even if i did suceed in making it a true twin scroll. So i guess i will now look into the gt28rs unless anyone has some conflicting actual information. The source i got my info from is considered very reliable. The one think that comes to mind on the gt28rs is the block plate to make it an external wastegate how hard is that to get done.

just reprace the WG actuator with a threaded rod.
or yes a smal block on the dump pipe assembly .
There is realy nothing rong with integral wast gates any how .I have seen no real evidence of external ones being much better .
I think they may just take the heat better but are hype really .
there are plenty of tuners here in aus that hardly bother with them and that does inlude 460whp 968's
you may be able to get the gt28 into a kkk 951 turbine housing .
hey i've got an old garret twinscroll exhuast housing at home .
think its t3 /t4 type can measure it up later if you like

I believe that pauertuning uses garret bb turbo's and does integrate a 10# or whatever KKK housing you would like. But I am not possitive. If that is in fact what he does then it would be alot cheaper then buying a garret BB turbo and then having to do a downpipe mod and other lubrication/cooling line mods...

No i sure cannot weld. The price of the downpipe work would have to justify the turbo i guess.

just buy 3" dump pipe for a jap high mount set up and maybe give it a little lobster back mod to make it fit right . if he preps it good someone on rennlist will weld it cheap .welding is just like painting its all in the prep work
