Default Exhaust stud removal

Am I going to break these, or is there a chance they'll come out in one piece without much trouble? The nuts came off fine after soaking in PB Blaster. Just double nut the studs and pray?

Not sure if you are talking head/turbo/or downpipe studs but I got out my downpipe studs on the second try (first DP I snapped the last one off but had a spare lying around). I soaked it w/ PB Blaster for a couple of days then heated the flange up w/ a plumbing torch. Double nut walked it out w/o to much trouble. The one key I've found w/ removing troublesome studs is to use a T bar instead of a normal socket wrench....I always seem to shear off studs when using the latter. Head studs came out fine...but my turbo studs I haven't tried because I'm swapping turbos.

They shouldn't give you too much trouble. Use mild heat...the aluminum will expand greater than the steel and should ease the job.
