Default Wrist Pin Clip Tool?

These clips came with my Mahle pistons. They take considerable force to compress small enough to fit in the wrist pin bore. Anyone have any suggestions for installing them? There is only one end to grab, so my snap-ring tools are useless...

And I thought the waterpump snap ring was bad....

Seems like there ought to be a tool for this -- a 24mm sleeve with a slot on the side -- to push it in list a piston ring goes into the bore. Anyone seen such a thing?

Don't try to put them in like a snap ring, that leads to frustration!

This helped me: Wrist pin clip install link

Tough to describe, but once you've got it figured out, you think "oh, duh!".

Well, I took out an old piston and worked on my technique. Mostly using my fingers, with a final pry with the screwdriver. I got one out seven installed tonight. Will work on the others in the morning. Installation tips still very much welcome.
