Does the heater control valve do anything?
my heater control valve broke, so as a temporary fix, i bypassed it. the result, cold a/c and hot heat. i then removed another vacuum line that ran into the firewall next to where the heater control valve vacuum line attached, there are two there that are unhooked now. now i have cold a/c and hot heat. so what does this thing do? is something wrong here?
