Default K-27#8 swap on 84 951

I purchased a Powerhouse turbo, it is the larger K-27 with a number 8 hotside. I want to get 300 HP and would like some input from anyone who has traveled this path before I begin tearing into my Factory original car. Besides the turbo upgrade what else will I need to install?
Thanks

Wastegate, chips, FPR and injectors. A MAF-kit is a good idea.

Do a search and see what mods others have done to reach certain power levels.

What did you have to give for it if you do't mind me asking?

Was yours a k27/8 or 6?

I am having a hell of a time trying to get close to 300 with a powerhause K27/6 the PO put on and I have gone to Vitesse MAF 72 lb injectors and his chip board.

How much boost are you running? From what I've seen you should be able to get that at 17-18 PSI.

I have a PowerHaus K27/6(? - when I called and asked about whether I had a 6 or 8 hotside, the man himself told me, in an irritated sort of way, 'we don't make an 8 hotside for that turbo') w/Guru chips, stock AFM, stock exhuast, black **** MBC, TiAL WG. I have a dyno at 12psi (previous owner) showing ~260whp/tq. I usually run at 15psi, and my butt dyno says I'm not at 300whp/tq yet. I ran it at 18psi on some race gas for an evening, and it still didn't feel like 300whp (maybe wtq). Really, really wish there was a dyno in my little town, as new software is in hand and waiting to go in (after I find the time to put it back together again .................).

i have a #8, i can assure you powerhaus used to make a #8, i still have the sales lit somewhere at home. i don't have the dyno handy (i'm out of town this week), but i made around 315rwhp at 15 psi. thing is i was trying to use the smt6 to control the boost and hadn't figured it all out yet, the log files show the boost bouncing between 13 and 15 psi. eventually put in a profec and the boost is rock solid but i never re-dynoed it.

Sorry for the typo it is an 86 951. the turbo is a Powerhaus K27 with a number 8 hotside. I figure the Autauthority Maf APE kit and the chips would be about it but can I add a pop off valve and should I modify the wastegate?
